There are lot of beautiful sandy beaches in Haapsalu and nearby. One of the most popular beaches in Haapsalu are Paralepa beach, Vasikaholmi beach and Väike Viik swimming spot. Those are all just a walking distance from Kongo Hotel. There are also children paygrounds in Paralepa and Vasikaholmi beach. On the Väike Viik you can rent water bikes as well.
If you prefer to have more privacy then rent a car beacuse the most beautiful Estonian beaches are just 20-25 min drive away from Haapsalu. Long sandy beaches in Roosta, Tuksi and Nõva. In Nõva you can also buy fish from local fishermen and grill it by yourself.
